the trouble comes from 'most' doing that but not really being aware of from where they download. a better habit is to choose 'save' as the first option then scan the download for nasties before double clicking or unzipping or whatever.


Hey Sir B., yep that is best for most, but since it is just you, Bebi, boss and I responding, I meant most as in us that know what we are doing, I would never choose run from an unknown source/site.

That should do it for dells.


So Dells are different than any other computers that run Windows.

Dell is a brand name, has nothing to do with how Windows runs on it, runs the same as on, pick any brand Bichur listed.

You should really start posting these threads in the forums as they are not Articles.
